SYNOPSIS
The Front Lines follows four young journalists fresh out of university as they cover their first presidential campaign. Moving between newsrooms, their personal lives and reporting on the ground, this documentary series captures their calling on film and explores the future of political journalism in the face of new democratic challenges.

After obtaining a double degree in Cinema & Literature and Philosophy in Paris, Jonathan Safir developed his work as both a writer and director. As a screenwriter, he co-created several series (Société Distincte, Les Ondes) and wrote a TV movie for France Télévisions. As a director, he has made five documentaries broadcast on various channels (Slash, France 3, L'Équipe TV). Jonathan Safir is also the writer-director of two short films and one feature film, Des Hommes de Paille (produced by OCS), which received awards at several festivals (Cognac, Stockholm, and Rhode Island).
