SYNOPSIS
Mohamed-Lamine, an Algerian-born luxury taxi driver in Paris decided to Frenchify his name. His daughter Camélia tries to understand what led him to try becoming the perfect immigrant. Camélia travels to Algeria, where she discovers an underground techno community that helps her fill the void between them. Will their paths cross ?

Camélia Gadhgadhi is a 23 year old Franco-Algerian filmmaker born in the suburbs of Paris. She obtained a master’s degree in cinema and worked on a number of film sets before writing, directing and producing UNZARI, her first short film (distributed by Messina Films, in Tokyo in 2019.
She currently works as a writing coordinator and assistant showrunner on the first French Apple TV show, which is in pre-production. She is also in the final steps of post-production for La Nuit, her second short film, which she self-produced and shot in Paris in 2021.
