SYNOPSIS
Dmytro Dokunov, or Dok, a DOP living in an eco-community, is drafted into a combat unit to face the Russian invasion. With his mobile
camera, Dok films himself on the frontline while his voiceover guides us through a dual transformative experience: becoming a Ukrainian
“war hero” while striving to keep his humanity and ability to wonder.

Oleksandr Tkachenko is a Ukrainian director and scriptwriter. He has worked with Ukrainian TV channels for the past 15 years.
He has also worked as a freelance director and producer of art videos and music videos for Ukrainian artists.
Over the past few years, Oleksandr has dedicated himself to directing documentary TV series in the Ukrainian region of Bessarabia.
